Demi researched Marco Polo and tells the story in a way that is easy for children to understand. It is also written in a way that is interesting. The story tells Marco Polo's story from beginning to end. It tells of all the different places and difficulties that Marco, his father, and uncle faced as they traveled all across Asia and Europe. It tells of how the records came to be written down. The illustrations are great. They show each thing that is talked about in the text. It is a great way to keep the student's attention.

This book is a great way to inform students about Marco Polo. It is a way to get students interested in history and learning about someone in history life. It would be great for a history lesson.
